Adoption Process

Applications are downloadable from this website and must be emailed back to adoptions@countryroadrescue.org. Please note as to whether you need to fill out an Adoption Application or a Foster to Adopt Application. Foster to Adopt is for puppies that have not been spayed or neutered. California law allows rescues to adopt out before alteration if it’s under vet recommendation and a deposit is required that is refunded after proof of alteration. The adoption fee is $200 and the deposit is an additional $100. Adoption meetings are by appointment only. Applications have adoption requirements listed. Country Road Rescue was established as of November 2018. We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization EIN : 83-2706203.

Dogs Are Our Mission

For the dogs in need that find their way to us, we promise to try and get you back home. If that isn't possible, then we promise to find you a new, forever home.
